TASK OF RUSSIAN PRESIDENT ADMINISTRATION:
To organize a concert to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the World War II.
SOLUTION OF KOLIZEY:
Perform live with a single storyline that recreates the first post-war concert translated on the radio from Berlin May 7, 1945.
Events of 1941 – 1945 years were reconstructed on the stage of Theatre of the Russian Army. The Unknown Soldier became the main hero of the whole show. On the screens broadcast Chronicle with dive bombers, military battle panoramas of Berlin and final victory parade in 1945 was broadcasted on epic screens above the stage.
The concert was organized by the Tikhon Khrennikov Regional Charitable Foundation, supporting Russian music and culture, and by Events Center KOLIZEY. Renowned singer Iosif Kobzon opened the concert. Its program consisted of performances of Russian actors, pop stars and music groups such as Grigory Leps, Valery Lansky, Dmitri Singers Vladimir Steklov, and many others. The concert was attended by dignitaries from the patriotic public organization Immortal regiment - a project to perpetuate the memory of those who fell in the battles of World War II.
